I’m Amanda and I am so glad you are here!

Welcome. I know you are searching for someone who is the right fit to handle your wedding day, so let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’ve been in the events industry for 20 years and have coordinated and planned nearly 300 weddings since opening A Swanky Affair. Over the years I have had the pleasure of getting to work at some of the top wedding venues in North Carolina, as well as planning corporate conferences, and non-profit galas. Along the way, I’ve received recognition from Style Me Pretty, The Knot, Every Last Detail, Munaluchi Bride, and more. I have even won ‘The Best of Durham’ award eight years running. 

My goal is to make sure that your day is flawless, that the final stages of the wedding planning process are as stress free as possible, and that everything is seamless and perfect, so that you can savor every moment of your day without having to think about any of the details! 

When I’m not busy helping my incredible couples get married you can find me playing with my three year old son and giant goofy hound dog, enjoying my husband’s amazing meals, and waiting for the next big travel adventure!
