I am so excited to share Caroline and Ryan’s wedding which was recently featured in Southern Bride and Groom Magazine!
Duke Gardens was the perfect location for Caroline and Ryan, reflecting the bride’s passion, love, and career of landscape design. For the color palette they chose shades of sea-foam green, soft yellow, and peach which blended in perfectly with the gardens. I loved the simple, yet gorgeous touches that were throughout the wedding from the calligraphied name cards to the vintage embroidered overlays on all the tables. Tre Bella’s flowers tied into the soft vintage design by utilizing milk glass and mercury vases. For the dinner guests enjoyed fresh and seasonal food from Durham Catering. And to tie in with the bride’s Southern heritage, rather than the traditional wedding cake they offered old-fashioned southern cakes of coconut, German chocolate, angel food, red velvet, and more. They were a huge hit with the guests! To finish off the evening the guests enjoyed music by Ryan’s favorite band Driftwood.
