Susie & Matt- Winter Wedding at the Carolina Inn

Susie and Matt chose a quite weekend, between Christmas and New Year’s Eve to host their wedding celebration with close friends and family at the beautiful Carolina Inn.

The day started off very relaxed with a first look in the Brian Courtyard. There, the couple also took a few photos with their adorable Golden Retriever. In the early evening hours guests gathered in the Chancellor’s ballroom for an intimate service and then moved to the reception in the Old Well ballroom. This wedding certainly was about great food. For passed appetizers guests enjoyed bacon wrapped scallops, duck confit profiteroles, and fig mascarpone beggar’s purses. For dinner there was a red pepper and goat cheese bisque followed by a baby greens salad with golden beets and walnuts, and finally a duo of filet mignon and chicken. But, all of this food didn’t slow guests down. Right after dinner everyone danced the night away with the amazing sounds of Brian McGuire of McSound Productions!
