These days it’s rare to hear of childhood sweethearts that stand the test of time. But, for Ruthellen and Daniel, their middle school relationship was everlasting!
The couple married on a warm summer day. But, the heat didn’t stop them from having a gorgeous first look over the lake at Ruthellen’s family home or a lovely outdoor ceremony at The Cloth Mill. After the ceremony guests cooled off inside with specialty drinks, the Baby Ruth and the Danny Boy, and some fabulous food from Mitchell’s Catering. Ruthellen chose a sophisticated and romantic color palette of soft greens and pinks for her decor. But, she also added in a few fun touches! In lieu of a traditional guest book attendees snapped shots with vintage style polaroid cameras to add to the wedding memories. And at each place setting guests were given boxes of “childhood sweet tarts, ” as wedding favors. After dinner, guests partied on the dance floor to the music of Joe Bunn until it was time for the sparkler send off!
