Christen and Andrew were married on the first day of spring! It’s that magical transition from a cold and dreary winter into a warm and blooming season. What better time to celebrate?
While they both were pursuing careers in Chicago, they chose to come back to their alma mater, Duke for their wedding celebration. The ceremony took place at the gorgeous Duke Chapel. To honor Andrew’s Jewish heritage they installed a curly willow branched chuppah at the alter and his family Rabi performed the ceremony. Afterwards, guests enjoyed a reception at the Nasher museum. Christen chose an eclectic mix of design. While the Nasher is modern, she brought in a few farm tables and chose a classic color palette of gold and cream. It all came together beautifully! For dinner guests feasted on a wonderful menu provided by Sage and Swift. And after dinner it was all about the party. In Full gave an amazing performance and there wasn’t a moment that the dance floor wasn’t packed!
We hope you enjoy these images and get inspired for your own big day!
