Mary Cates & Jason- Merrimon Wynne House Wedding

I’m so excited to share Mary Cates and Jason’s beautiful wedding at the Merrimon-Wynne House!

Mary Cates and Jason were married in September on what seemed to be a very rainy day. Then, minutes before the ceremony the clouds parted and the sun came out! Mary Cates and her mom did most of the wedding design. They wanted a classic and elegant feel to the day. So they chose to stick with a clean and sophisticated palette of gold and cream. Donovan’s Dish provided a delicious Southern influenced menu. For passed appetizers there were low country crab cakes, ham rolls with brown sugar, and even a “Georgia” bruschetta with fresh peach, chèvre, and prosciutto. And for the main course Cornish hens and Carolina succotash!
