A Grand Indian Wedding at the Washington Duke Inn: A Celebration of Love and Tradition

There’s something truly magical about Indian weddings, with their rich cultural traditions, vibrant colors, and intricate details. And when it comes to planning a grand Indian wedding, the Washington Duke Inn in Durham, North Carolina, provides the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable celebration of love.

For one such wedding, we had the pleasure of working with a beautiful couple who wanted their special day to be a true reflection of their personalities and their love for one another. They envisioned a color palette of deep reds and golds, with accents of ivory and blush, and a stunning floral arrangement that incorporated hydrangeas, roses, and other colorful blooms.

The wedding ceremony took place at the Washington Duke Inn. The mandap, or ceremonial canopy, an abundance of flowers, creating a breathtaking backdrop for the couple’s union.

After the ceremony, the couple were greeted with a stunning ballroom decked out in the same rich color scheme as the ceremony. The table settings featured centerpieces of hydrangeas, roses, and other colorful blooms creating a beautiful display of color and texture.
