Katie & Mark- Colorful Summer wedding at Duke Gardens

I love my job and it’s a pleasure to meet and work with such amazing couples! Katie and Mark were no exception. When we started planning Katie was seeking dual degrees from both the Kenan Flagler business school at UNC and the Nicholas School for the Environment at Duke. Needless to say, a busy woman! Mark was also involved with opening Social Games and Brew on Main St. in Durham, a very cool place to grab a drink and have some fun. But, all of this work leaves little time for wedding planning so, I was happy to step in and create a beautiful summer wedding to reflect their personalities and style.

Duke Gardens provided the perfect backdrop for their intimate summer wedding. Yellow and shades of coral were used in everything from the beautiful stationary designed by Indigo Envelope and in the gorgeous flowers from Eclectic Sage. One of my favorite details were the cube chandeliers with hanging flowers. Simply stunning!
