Leigh & Brian- Winter Wedding at St. Mary’s Chapel and Cobblestone Hall

I’m so excited to share the gorgeous, personal, and unique wedding of Leigh and Brian!

Let’s start with their love story……Leigh and Brian both went to high school in Raleigh. Leigh attended St. Mary’s and Brian attended St. David’s. One fateful night out they met at a local coffee shop and the rest is history! When it was time to get married the couple loved the idea of a winter wedding in the town where it all began. The ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Mary’s Chapel, where Leigh attended school,  followed with a reception downtown at Cobblestone Hall.

The best part about Leigh and Brian’s wedding was that they brought in so many details to make it a personal experience that reflected their unique styles and personalities. Details in honor of the groom’s New Orlean’s heritage were found throughout the wedding. Leigh wore a fleur de lis hair pin, the bridesmaids had fleur de lis pins on their sashes, there was a New Orleans food station (complete with gumbo and mulfaletta sandwiches), and during the reception they broke out with a second line and custom made handkerchiefs that said, ‘Laissez le bon temps rouler!, ” or, “Let the good times roll!”  Rather than a traditional sit down the dinner the couple opted for a variety of food stations which included local honey and cheeses, Indian fare, along with Mediterranean and Americana foods. And in honor of their passion for beer, they offered a local beer station for the guests to enjoy. After dinner Leigh and Brian treated the guests to  a fabulous hot chocolate station complete with flavored syrups, marshmallows, peppermints and more! Guests partied the night away with a fabulous dj and took breaks to pop in the photo booth for a quick picture. To end the night guests grabbed macron favors as they ran out the door for a glow stick exit!  It certainly was a night filled with incredible food, beautiful details, and  non-stop fun!

We hope you enjoy the fabulous photos from Jessica Arden Photography and get inspired !
