This past June Victoria and Moshe married their best friends, each other. Their love story started many years ago during high school with a simple friendship that developed into something much deeper when they found themselves attending the same university. The couple decided the perfect time to marry was right after graduation before they both moved to Chicago to attend graduate school. They wanted a destination wedding and the NC mountains offered the perfect place for a fun-filled and relaxed wedding weekend.
Victoria and Moshe chose the Greystone Inn at Lake Toxaway as the location for the pre-wedding festivities which included sunset boat rides, hiking, and amazing food. On the wedding day guests were greeted with a vintage Trolley which took them to the stunning Lonesome Valley where both the ceremony and reception took place.
After a romantic ceremony with a stunning view of the granite cliffs the valley is known for, guests walked to the reception where they enjoyed food from Lonesome Valley’s award-winning restaurant, Canyon Kitchen. As if the day could not have been more picture perfect, a rainbow appeared across the valley during cocktail hour! When it was time for dinner guests moved inside where they were seated at farm tables with lace runners, lanterns, and romantic flowers in Victoria’s peach and blue color palette. After dinner they enjoyed traditional wedding cake along with pie pops, macaroons, and miniature apple pies from Cornerstone Bakery. Then, the fabulous Joe Bunn of Joe Bunn DJ rocked the dance floor until it was time for the sparkler send off!
We hope you enjoy these images and get inspired for your own special day.
